When will I see results?
How long do dermal fillers and Injectables last?
- Botox lasts 4-6 months.
- Juvederm lasts up to 1 year.
- Radiesse lasts a year or longer.
- Fat grafting can last for several years.
Are the injections painful?
Patients will experience brief and mild discomfort from Botox injections. Dermal fillers typically cause moderate discomfort and for this reason, we prefer to give the patient an injectable anesthesia. Patients may chose to use an ice pack on the treated areas to reduce any pain or swelling. Mild bruising may occur. Fat grafting is done under oral sedation and local anesthesia.
What is the downtime?
There is no downtime for Botox or dermal fillers. Swelling is common after dermal filler injections and mild bruising may occur. Downtime for fat grafting is typically 1-2 days.
