This is a question we hear almost every day. I have been performing facelifts for 24 years and am now seeing patients for their 2nd or 3rd lifts.
This is what I have learned:
A facelift lasts FOREVER – in the sense that you will always look better that if you had not had it done! But we just set the clock backwards and it continues to run. The older we get, the faster it runs.
We all will see more aging of our faces in the next 5 years than in the previous 5 years. This is why a face lift at age 50 APPEARS to last longer than when performed at age 60. At 50 we are not aging as fast as at 60.
If I could tell you today that that you will look better in 10 years than you do now, who wouldn’t want that?
