Plastic surgery is on the rise among for brides who want to ensure that they look their best on their wedding day, according to a California cosmetic surgeon.
Dr. Jagdev Heir, medical director of Sacramento Surgical Arts, an accredited cosmetic, oral and maxillofacial surgery center in Sacramento and Yuba City, reports that an increasing number of brides are seeking cosmetic solutions before their weddings.
Heir says that brides and their bridal parties are willing to spend anywhere from $300 to $6,000 on procedures in preparation for their special day.
Heir recommends that brides plan ahead for these procedures, since some of them need to be performed four to six months before the wedding date. He also says people should make sure not to choose surgery in lieu of a healthy lifestyle.
